This loft conversion involved our first installation of the VELUX Balconette.
For the owners of this delightful detached property on the outskirts of Wimbledon, it was essential that the loft conversion should complement the existing character of the house and if possible to enhance it.
We were able to achieve a beautiful, large and bright double bedroom with an en suite and even added a balcony with space for a table and chairs providing an idyllic ‘room with a view’.
The VELUX balconette does not require altering the roof of the property, unlike dormer conversions, and the seating area is actually within the room as a result of a very clever design.
Some areas will not be able to add this balcony to their property due to planning regulations stipulated by some local councils. However, if it is permitted in your area you can be sure that our team at our head office will get through council planning permission in record speed!
