We completed a VELUX loft conversion for this semi-detached property in Esher adding a spacious double bedroom and en suite. In the conversion we have optimised the use of space, keeping the room very open and enhancing the features of the building such as the chimney detail behind the bed.
Eight VELUX windows have been used to maximize natural daylight in the room and includes a large window in the en suite, one above the stairs allowing natural daylight to flood the stairwell and then three windows down each side of the main area of the room.
We work closely with VELUX and are committed to providing our clients with the very best solutions. VELUX now provides automatic windows that can be programmed to open slightly in the morning to bring in fresh air and you can even programme blinds to gradually open so that you can awaken to natural daylight and of course, they can also include rain sensors so that you don’t get woken up by splashes of rain!
