A mansard loft conversion can be created to the rear and sometimes to the front of your home, creating maximum head height and space. Mansard lofts are mostly used for terraced properties and for properties with flat roofs.

A mansard loft conversion has brick sides that are built off the party wall, with the front area sloping back slightly to a 70 degree pitch.
