Federation of Master Builders (FMB)
A1 Loft Conversions are members of the FMB who were established over 60
years ago and are the largest trade association in the UK building industry.
As FMB members we work to a strict code of practice and are required to prove our skills and good business standing on an ongoing basis. We also have professional and ethical working practices, agreed contract values and details and carry sufficient insurance. We have consistently met the standards set by the FMB and strive to excell in all of the loft conversions that we complete.
We have been instrumental in winning two FMB Awards in 2005 and 2008 both for work in energy efficiency building. Learn more here.

A1 Loft Conversions have ISO9001 accreditation. This is a internationally
recognised framework for effectively managing your business and meeting
your customer's requirements. It is by far the world's most established
quality framework and sets the standard not only for quality management
systems, but for all management systems. ISO9001 helps organisations to succeed through improved customer satisfaction, staff motivation and continual improvement.
What does this mean to our customers? As well as having streamline systems for our external loft conversion processes and consistently hitting the FMB standard, we also have excellent internal processes for managing our customer service, project management andadhere to strict guidelines, are quality driven, ensure customer satisfaction and we have documented and efficient methods of communication – all things that help to ensure our business runs smoothly and that our customers are looked after throughout the loft conversion process.
